WebPod Studio, by Lionhardt Technologies, offers a good collection of features for creating and publishing podcasts, but includes few editing tools. So it is a good choice for publishing, but if you want to create unique mixes you will need to have a separate audio editing program.

With this program it is really easy to publish your podcasts and build RSS, ATOM and RDF feeds as well as iTunes RSS type feeds. We were a bit confused by some of the information on Lionhardt’s website, for example in the feature matrix it relates that “pinging” is not supported in the “personal” version, but in the Professional and Enterprise editions. But in the features listed under the “Standard” version it has auto pinging listed. If you are serious about podcasting, you will want auto pinging.

This program is really easy to use and is good choice for publishing, but lacks advanced editing tools. However, if you already have an audio editing program that you like to use to build your audio files, WebPod Studio can help you publish.
